BOSTON IRISH WOLFHOUNDS

Founded in 1989, the Wolfhounds have always strived to compete at the top level of club rugby in the U.S. The club won USA National Division 1 championships in 2003 and 2004 and currently competes

in the American Rugby Premiership, the premier competition for club rugby on the U.S. east coast and boasts one of finest Rugby centers, The Irish Cultural Centre, 200 New Boston Drive, Canton, MA 02021 

The team trains at Boston College High School, and is looking to build on a strong dedicated nucleous of returning players this Fall, which includes Gareth Austen, Paddy Owens, and Danny Collins. The New England based Universities continue to produce top quality players, and the Wolfhounds welcome Sean Richards of BU, Luke Bradley from Roger Williams, and Sean Moran Bryant to name a few.

The Wolfhounds will continue their focus on recruitment and development of young domestic players in the fall. The club had a very successful Summer 7s series in the NERFU region, and seeks to build on that momentum in the fall.
