Heading into the 2016-17 season, Mystic River is once again led by Head Coach Josh Smith, who is joined by Kayne Bubb, and Glen Mannering, and with Mark Holi taking the reins of the Division 2 squad, Mystic boasts a depth of players and coaches to

compete in both divisions. According to Smith "The players are excited to join the ARP, and look forward to the challenges of competing in a comp loaded with talented players and coaches alike. Getting a full fall schedule will be great for our player development"

Mystic River’s ARP side holds a collection of solid seasoned youngsters, and veterans that continue to uphold their club’s rich 40yr traditions in high regards. Returning players from the 2016 D1 National Championship roster include Captain and Hooker Mike Bozza who is flanked by veteran props ChrisO’Donnell, and Luke Schlotman to anchor the scrum, and provide the surge for a star-studded backrow of Jon Kokinda , Joe Shurmaitis, and Sean Rafferty to once again make the big plays . Newer players continually bring speed and skill to the club like recent college graduate Wingers Chris Frazier, and Stephen Dazzo. Also returning are flyhalf Robbie Malnee, and of course National Championship MVP, Alatasi Tupou.

Mystic River trains and plays their home games at the beloved Pine Banks Park in Malden, Massachusetts (1087 Main Street, Malden MA, 02148) which boasts the only World Rugby certified Regulation 22 FieldTurf® full-size rugby playing surface in the United States. The Harp at 85 Causeway, Boston, hosts the team’s post game events for Mystic River supporters..
